The second half was all about Vinicius as the forward scored twice more to complete his hat-trick - his first for Real Madrid. On 67 minutes, he had Benzema to thank after the Frenchman danced around the goalkeeper before passing to him almost on the goal-line to tap home.

And the final blow came on 83 minutes as he benefitted from a Luka Jovic pass before tucking away the finish with his left foot.

The win serves as a confidence boost for Real Madrid who have already been crowned champions, but sadly for Levante, their defeat means they are relegated from LaLiga Santander.

The league's top side host the league's bottom side and while Carlo Ancelotti can afford to rest several key players with the Champions League final coming up, Levante realistically have to win to maintain any chance of staying in the division.
